I have 27 inch waist and a small fits very comfortably! I had to do the first hook down at my hips and then gradually make it tighter up to my boobs because I have bigger hips and a smaller waist naturally. I found this helps in the beginning when you're getting used to wearing it! Also helps great with my posture when I sit.

I looked at reviews to place my size which I though would be a 3xl but I'm already on the last loop and I would like like to start on the 1st loop. The fabric is wonderful!!! I love it. Had to order a new one. When I pull my shirt down can't even tell you have it on. I am 206 lbs and I am 5'8. I would recommend a 2xl for anyone this size. Also it is long! Which I really love because I am tall!

This does indeed make your waist smaller over time. You should combine it with a healthy diet and exercise to see optimal results. The first 2 weeks are rough, it takes time to break the waist cincher in and for your body to adjust, start off with 2 hours a day and increase up to 8 hours. I've gone from a size medium and 33 inch waist to a size small 29 inch waist and I've actually gained 10 pounds (On purpose to look more hourglass shaped). You are going to need to downsize to see real results but it is definitely worth it!!

I was worried because I kind of guessed my measurements but it fits me perfectly and is so comfortable. I'm 5'7 and weigh 185 but I have a very athletic build. I usually wear a large in clothes but I ordered an XL for my waist trainer and it fits just right.
