When I got it and tried to put it on it was a little difficult considering I've never really used one of these before. After I was able to get it on it was a perfect fit and gave me so much support and I no longer have lower back pain like I used to. Hopefully soon I will get the next size down because the one I have now is working wonders!

Ok I still gave it 5 stars because the trainer itself feels good although I cannot fit it. Had I got it 2 sizes bigger I would’ve been alright. I took it as a push as far as my weight loss goes. As I lose inches I always try to fit in it to see if I’m getting closer . The item is too small but if it were to fit it would be good. As time goes by I’ll get in it

I absolutely love this waist trainer. I own about 5 different kinds of waist trainers, and this one has to be my favorite. I received it yesterday 4/2/18 and the quality felt great, today 4/3/18 i used it at the gym to work on legs and it was great i got my sweat on! IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ANYONE WHO IS A BEGINNER at using waist trainers:
- Yes you can wear the waist trainer to the gym but DO NOT do high volume cardio in the waist trainer, when your heart rate speeds up you start to breathe harder and your organs need to expand, wearing the waist trainer at this point is very dangerous and you can pass out.
- You shouldn't do core/ab workouts while wearing the waist trainer and laying on the floor, as you can ruin the shape of the metal in the waist trainer and it would defeat the purpose of wearing a waist trainer to get into shape with no shape in the trainer.
- Make sure you wear a t-shirt under the waist trainer as you sweat a lot when you work out and with no air flow through the waist trainer you can develop back-acne or even a rash.

I'm 5'5 135lb with a 29 waist and I went with the Large, but it's definitely too big for me (it barely provides compression on the largest hooks). I was about to return it when I saw that they are out of Mediums in the black peony style and chose to keep the large just in case. Excellent quality and I adore the sexy floral design! I just wish they would restock the other sizes!!

Make sure you actually measure correctly. When you do, this is the best brand. I love mine. I've lost 62 lbs (with diet and exercise as well) in 4 months. I started in the 3x and have sized down to medium. Love them.

It fits a bit snug so if your a medium, I would suggest getting the next size up. I do love the material and the product is of great quality. It will shrink your waistline for sure.
