I am 5'3 , 160 lbs and have a waist trainer from another company that is so uncomfortable on my back, I never wear it. It is 9 in length and a size large. I ordered this lover-beauty in a size large as well, which is 11 in length (if you order the large and up. I think it said the medium and under is 10 ) and it's much more comfortable along the top of my back, making my back buldge a little more contained than the shorter waist trainer lol. I was even able to wear it for 5 hours on the first day of wear, with no complaints! I also love the color. I ordered the nude color and it's actually quite a pretty tan/beige. I do have experience with waist trainers and steel boned corsets. The real, steel boned corsets, that lace in the back, are not flexible at all and are too bulky to wear under clothes, in my opinion. The trainers I've tried, similar to this one, do give you a waist reduction, if worn a lot. I just didn't ever want to wear my recent one because of the back issue. I have also tried a waist trainer with straps, that cover your back, but they always bother my shoulders, when worn all the time. With all that being said, I believe this lover-beauty trainer is a good fit for me and it seems like it's made well!
