So when I first received this I thought it was way too small! I wrapped it around me and was short about 4-5 inches. But I had a friend who told me it's okay if it looks too small just give it a try, so I laid on my bed and fought like crazy to get this thing on! Once I finally got it on it suprisingly wasn't really uncomfortable like I thought it would be! Despite the fact that it took 15 mins to get a on, it fit nice and relatively comfy. Today is only day 1. I will update again in about 2 weeks
UPDATE: Iv been wearing it for one week now, I can already see results, it is easier to put on now, by next week I can see needing to move to the second row of hooks. It is holding up fine as well, no rips or broken hooks

It's a corset . It is tight but it fits and gives you curves. Check their size chart before you order and they will let you know what size is best for your size. I looked awesome in a dress I wore to a wedding. I carry my weight in my stomach area and I had 4 kids. I used to have a perfect hour glass figure but now I needed help to look good/ better in a dress. I didn't magically look skinny, I just looked good/ better

I measured 35 inches at the smallest part of my waist. BUT I wear a small in almost all of my clothing and saw that many of the reviews said the sizing chart pictured was a little off so I decided to go with a medium after reading a review of someone close to my size and weight range. I am 130 lbs and 5'5 and it fits perfectly. I definitely want to try to shorter torso one Since when I sit down it jams into my boobs but honestly it feels amazing when you are wearing it working out and gives you so much support for your back which is the original reason for me getting it. There was a little wrinkling after wearing for some time but the marterial is durable and super comfortable! Honestly what do you have to lose it's only 20 bucks

I used these for just over a year and I did go down in them 4 sizes: from L to XS!!! The XS is still tight on me on the 2nd row. I could keep going if I wanted to, but I stopped at the end of 2016. They really helped me begin and boost a journey toward health. I did a lot of walking and some mild workout programs to supplement a DIY weight loss program for myself. I believe that they tend to have a palcebo effect to boost confidence. I don't think they work alone in promoting weight loss.

I almost passed out once wearing one in the swampy TX heat of August. I had to take it off in front of people. I was outside working in it, trying to get a good sweat going while clearing a tree off a fence line. That was not a good idea. Don't to strenuous work in extreme heat while wearing these.

Boning: The boning in these is legit. Very strong, holds up for a long time. It's very well reinforced, so the wires don't snap easily at all. But they will tend to break or poke out at the ends over time--after about 4-6 months of heavy wear. They tend to bend along your curviest places, and at the front of the waist where you tend to bend forward while sitting.

Fabric: the inside is sort of rubbery with latex and promotes sweating. There is layered fabric. It's actually kind of heavy. The outside fabric is sort of satiny.

some of the hooks give out over time. I have sewed a few of them back in if they got really bad.

I found this product especially useful for oldschool waist training for corsets. I work at a renaissance festival seasonally, and it really really helped my body (waist, tummy, lungs, ribcage) get ready to wear a corset with my work costume like it was nothing. No sweating and huffing and puffing, no trouble breathing, no adjusting to wearing a corset--I was already ready because of this waist trainer.

Overall, I LOVE this product.

my measurements are 43, 39, 46 and this fits for the the job. holds me all in. It was hard at first but has gotten easier with a time, assuming i am taking shape. i am now on the inner row of hooks, i'll have to size down soon
