I love this product! I was a little scared because my waist is 30inches and the large only went that far, but it fits perfectly. The only reason I could see needing to go up a size is if the largest part of your belly is significantly larger than your waist.

Awesome waist trainer, durable material my waist is about a 38 to 39 a 2X fits perfectly on the first loop bought an XL it is too small. However, will keep it. Hopefully, I will move down in size soon. It holds me in really well.

It's fits good. I didn't like how you have to tighten the lace but since I don't have anyone to do it for me, it's a bit harder. To combat that, I just use my door knob and rap the lace around and pull from there. It gets it real tight. I've worn it about three days and I'm loving the way it has shape my waist. I use it mainly for the support of my back and boy does it do its job. I love it. I've worn it everyday and even at night. It's very uncomfortable at night so I stop

I ordered this shaper not knowing what to expect. Shaper felt a little too tight at the beginning, but you quickly get used to it. What I really love, and it was my biggest concern before buying, is that it does not rolls up, it maintains the shape at all times. Great velcro and feels really sturdy. I've been using it around the house and while doing household chores. When removing the shaper you can feel the abdomen tighter and sweaty. Great product!

It was suggested I get an XL for my 32 inch waist but I got a L instead. I wanted it to be super tight and didn't want to end up having to buy both sizes. I did not want it to sit just right on my waist. It IS tight but most definitely doable because it's adjustable. I use it to lift weights in, I am able to comfortably do my deadlifts and squats with no problems with it riding up or coming undone. It stays in place. It helps with my posture and to keep my back straight at all times. The material is very durable and thick and I do feel a difference after I take it off at the end of a workout. I highly recommend this product for working out and toning up. As for choosing a size, it really depends on how you want it to feel. If you want it to sit comfortably on your waist without much of a squeeze get the suggested size but if you want it to really give you a good squeeze, I'd say go down a size.
