    I am 5 feet and I weigh 140 pounds.Alright, so i actually purchased this product twice: once when I ordered a Medium which is my usual size in clothes because i did not follow the sizing chart nor did I take into account that it ran a little small. So, I returned my other one and repurchased in a large which actually fit me all snug, but still enough compression that I could breathe and still wear it for four hours dancing in a club.

    I love this garment, it fit perfect. I got it because i needed a compression garment after a tummy tuck surgery. Its comfy and makes me feel secure. only negative is the pee hole can be much larger, i may have to cut it. or maybe you'll consider making crotch area be the snaps instead.

    I love the shaper... I ordered my correct size and I'm more than happy. I've had two children and I had loose skin after my first. I got down to a weight smaller than I was before I had even got pregnant. After my second I started to gain weight and fat under my loose stomach skin that I was actually happy about because without it my stomach looked like an empty trash bag... a euphemism that I got from an acquaintance, so I really didn't have much that needed work on. I wear a size medium to large in shirts because I prefer for my shirts to fit. I listened to the reviews that stated to order your actual size and I'm glad that I did. It sucks me in wonderfully but if you have a big pudge I'd suggest going a size smaller. My waist is around 31 to 32 inches on a good day... so that's the measurements that I went with and I'm glad that I did because I get results and comfort. It all depends on what you are working with. If you are just working with a fat pudge I'd suggest getting your correct size. If you are working with a fat pudge and loose abdominal muscles I'd suggest going a size smaller. I feel I could have easily fit in a size large because the only thing I'm trying to combat is the appearance of loose skin and a slight pudge but I know it would not have been as comfortable as the extra large. I made this review as honest as I could because I struggled with trying to find a shaper that pulled in my stomach but didn't flatten my butt... because according to my husband I have a tear drop shaped butt (that he says he loves) so I need all the little curve that I have at the top. I have the black, thong shaper and it actually adds a little extra curve to the top... that's natural looking because I'd be more than embarrassed if someone accused me of wearing a butt lifter... not that I have anything against any one that does, I just don't need it or want it. But because the thong shaper digs in your skin a little bit it does help curve the top of your butt. And if you were thinking about getting a butt shaper you could get the thong shaper and feel confident knowing that you purchased it for your tummy (something that's not as frowned upon as shaping your butt).

    I received my body shaper in the mail today & tried it on as soon as I got home from work. I bought the XL and usually I'm a L in pants & M in shirts. It's definitely a little tough to get on, but once it's on your sucked in tight & there's not an ounce of fat or roll showing! I just had a baby 6 months ago & I still haven't lost the baby weight or all the extra stuff that comes with a mom body but after I out this on I felt like a million bucks! I couldn't stop trying all my clothes on that haven't fit me in years! It's a must buy!

    Ok, so I have the xxl large which I ordered first by following the chart and measuring my waistline (measured at 34 inches), and it fits perfectly. Smooths out my shape and does what I had expected it would do. As far as making my waist look thinner, I did not feel that it did that, only smoothed out my shape(love handles) and made me look better in my clothing. I decided to try out the next 2 smaller sizes which are an XL and L. I haven't gotten the XL in the mail yet but received the L. So I wore the LARGE all day yesterday and it does fit, a little harder to get on but not bad. There is definately more compression and a tighter hold and possible even a smaller waistline but not by much in my case. I would have to take a measuring tape to my waist to know for sure. I did like the tighter fit and was thinking of ordering more in the large, but after wearing for awhile I noticed the hip area was wanting to flip up, not bad but a little annoying. So I decided to wait till I loose more weight to order smaller sizes. One thing I did notice even with the XXL size is that the left strap is cutting into my shoulder/armpit area and irritating it, which is very annoying. I had to wear a bandaid in that area and it was still irritating me. Also on both sizes the bra strap clip keeps coming undone/loose. I kept having to move the plastic piece back into the strap. Overall, I love this shaper and am happy with my purchase. My advice is to go by the size chart and your waist size. If you just want a smoother firmer look in clothes and something comfortable enough to wear everyday go with the size it says to. If you want a tighter fit/ more control / and possibly a size smaller look....go with 1 - 2 sizes smaller.
