This petticoat is very well made. I am usually a 2x but I sized up thinking these kind of pieces run small. Definitely should have stayed my normal size. Definitely don’t size up!

This is exactly what I wanted! I'm a size 22 or 2X and 5'10 tall, and was unsure of the sizing. So I ordered 3X based on reviews, but I could have used a 2X, because the waist is very loose, although everything else fits just right. I think 3X would be good if you are on the larger side of 2X, say 24 rather than 22. It is well made with nice fabric and a stretchy waist panel down to the hips. The underskirt keeps the crinoline from scratching your skin, and the crinoline has a tiny hem too, so it's finished, not rough like a tutu. It'a also crinoline, not scratching tulle fabric like a tutu.

I ordered it here on Amazon at the same time as another Grace Karen petticoat, which according to reviews, had a size XL which would fit a 2X. I wanted to try both styles to see which worked best for my dress, but they are identical, so it's too bad the item descriptions don't show this. (That petticoat is called Women Petticoat Skirt 50s Dress Tutu Half Slips CL8922 (X-Large, 2-Pack ). When I opened the XL package and saw it was the same item as the 3X I'm reviewing here, but tinier and shorter by about an inch, I didn't try it on so I could return it without stretching it. I'm going to look at the product description for how to launder this one, because there is no information on the product or packaging of either item.

Fit true to size. Gave my skirt the flare it needed without making it overly pouffy. Was a little scratchy after wearing for several hours, but not terribly so.
