Petticoat fit true to size and I love it!
You really have to work in a new petticoat before you get any volume. This is my first petticoat. At first I was disappointed, but I'm glad I stuck with it, because now it's great!
Some of the bad reviewers didn't get this: It comes in the mail INSIDE OUT. But, that's OK. You should hang it inside out to help it get back it's poof. Fluff it up. Periodically flip it back right-side in. Smooth it out on the bed or table. Run the fabric through your hands and smooth the wrinkles. Steam helps a lot. Bring it in the bathroom when you shower. Watching it gain poof is half the fun.
Even at maximum volume, this two-layer won't give you a huge bell silhouette, but it will get you to a really nice flared A . Especially for the price, this is a great starter petticoat!
Fits perfect! I normally wear a 3x in tops and 24w in bottoms and the 4x was big enough that I still have enough wiggle room that I probably could've gotten my true size bit I was afraid of it riding up. I am happy with the bigger size and would suggest having it steamed prior to wearing.
Too big! :( I got the 3XL and I'm 5'5 and 250lbs
My wife loves to wear it and I love to see her in it. She loves the feel of it and says it fits perfectly. She's worn it several times as a stand alone and as intended under a dress, always looks great.

I love this, and it works so well under my new dress. The elastic for it is a little loose. I am a size 44 waist and wear a size 16 Jeans ordered a 3xl and it super big on me. I'm going to take it in myself though because I have other outfits it's perfect for!

If you are looking to fluff up your skirt or dress this is perfect. I roll it up and put it away when I am not using it and when I need it I pull it out and let it sit for a bit then I fluff it and it works great every time.
I'm on a very fixed income, but I love vintage clothing. I've been eyeing these petticoats for a long time, but I never ordered them because I thought that I was being frivolous. But LET ME TELL YOU, friend...these will make a HUGE difference in both your vintage and normal dresses. (I included both including a before and after so that you could see how much floof it adds) They are so well made; I was shocked at the quality.
I ordered a small and my measurements are 34 bust, 28 waist, 36 hips, and a small fit perfectly!
Also: If you get them and they're not poofy enough for you (which....they shouldn't be fluffy because they send them vacuum packaged), wash them and give them a QUICK (I'm talking less than five minutes) run in the dryer on low heat, and they will fluff right up.
If you're on the fence, just buy it! You won't regret it!
