I bought this slip for a great dress I bought for my daughter on Amazon. Glad I bought it really made the dress look so pretty. Without the slip the skirt would have been too flat against her legs. This slip made the dress prettier. It is very well made and a great value.

If you want to wear cute 50s style full skirted dresses, but don't want to invest in an authentic vintage petticoat, this is for you! It works great, and I get compliments on my outfits evert single time I wear it! 99.9 percent of the people who see me in this wouldn't know authentic vintage if it hit them over the head, and honestly no one has ever looked under my skirt to analyze if it was a repro, or the real Mccoy! It is comfortable and there is a lot of stretch in the waist and hip area, I believe it would fit a wide variety of body types with ease. Save your vintage pennies, buy this and use your saving for even more cute dresses!!

So very nice! My dress for my reception is a mid-calf that needed a petticoat for fullness. Hated to old scratchy ones I grew up with. This has a lovely spandex top that is sewn to a nylon/silk type slip and the crenolins are over the top of that. It is a perfect length for my dress. Thank you so much. Just be aware, this arrives inside out so don't panic if you don't see the poof on the outside.
