I was very nervous about the purchase because I thought I would need a 2x due to my waist size being around 37 in. I received the product and it was perfect. After two days of wearing it, it is very comfortable. Very slimming! Waist slim and it looks amazing underneath clothing.

Gave birth 6 weeks ago and I was using this other waist trainer to hold everything back in place but it was too bulky to wear under clothes. This one is perfect to wear under clothing and creates the illusion that I'm thin. For reference this waist trainer is a size medium and I'm 5'4 and 135 pounds, I wear medium to large clothing.

Really good product! Bought a large and im a size 8 hourglassed with a 30 in waist. Can hook on all the way to the last row but it's tight and gives me more of a defined waist which I love! I probably could have gotten a medium but I didn't want it to be to small.

I used the measurements provide by the seller and it fits like a glove. The last time I wore a waist trainer I lost weight (wearing while eating also) hopefully this time it’s going to work again. The shipping was long but I knew when ordered it wasn’t included with prime.

I hope my review can help someone else make a more informed purchase, because like what another reviewer said, the reviews are all over the place with regards to sizing. Yes, the size chart is off, so I am a little surprised that they wrote in their description to ignore reviews and use their size chart. My waist is 36 (your waist is the more narrow part of your midsection!) so according to their chart I should get a 3xl. After reading reviews I decided on a 2xl. So I try it on and I was able to hook it on the last row of hooks, which is a waste of time and money because what you want is for it to be tight on the first row and to gradually move to the last row as your waist adjusts itself with the cincher. If it is not tight when you put it on, you will not cinch your waste. What's the point? Well, I returned it for the XL and it does fit tightly on the first row of hooks. After a couple weeks I can move to the next row and so on. With time, I can get the the large next. I was wearing a corset but I prefer this product because of it's flexibility. It isn't as hard as a corset and it doesn't require lacing, so it is more efficient while still getting a reduced waist (but keep in mind if you want a more extreme reduction in your waist you should use a traditional corset but they are not easy to move in). Well, I put on the XL and my waist went from 36 to 34 instantly (see pic). I can breath, I'm not uncomfortable. You can see it under thin tight clothes so you might need to wear looser or thicker shirts. Only thing that I don't like is that it pushes my boobs up a lot and that kind of hurts the area underneath them, not gonna lie. But it's not a deal breaker. So with that said, get one that is gonna be tighter on you, maybe buy two and return the one that doesn't fit. I got my money back the instant the mail man scanned the code on the return label! And with prime shipping it's not a hassle.
